Each year, the Lambda Theta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated offers a $1,000 Golden Scholars Award. This award is given to an outstanding senior who attends high school in the Pasco/Hernando, Pinellas, or Hillsborough counties, has a 3.5 GPA or higher, and has been accepted to a four-year college. Each applicant is asked to thoroughly explain how they plan to contribute to the black population in the US and in Africa.

This year’s recipient has a 6.1 GPA and has been accepted to Howard University, Clark Atlanta University, Spellman, North Carolina A&T, and FAMU!

On Tuesday, April 25th, Soror Blount, our Basileus, and Soror Govan Brown, our Grammateus, announced that Miss Raemarie Parks-Royal was our 2023 Golden Scholars Award recipient.
